Ordering - Frequently asked questions
|
How do I order plants online?
Just follow the on-screen instructions to use our online shopping cart. Once completed, your order will be emailed to us and we will contact you to confirm quantities and organise payment. Usually, we send out an invoice with your order which you can then pay by cheque or direct to our bank account via internet banking. What freight charges will I have to pay? This varies with plant size and where you live. Please contact us for details. Alternatively, select your plants and send us the order and we'll call you to discuss freight options. How long will it take for my plants to arrive? We despatch orders on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (this is so plants are not left sitting in a courier depot over the weekend). Our main courier is Fastways, and they will deliver you order direct to your door, or if you live in a rural area they will liaise with your rural mail contractor who will deliver your plants directly.
Do you have a wholesale / trade price list? We do not have individual trade price list, however please enquire about prices for bulk orders. We fulfil many large contracts and are happy to work with you to meet your needs. A PDF of our pricelist can be printed off by here. How is my order delivered? Your plants will be securely packaged in cardboard to ensure they stay upright, are not damaged in transit and receive adequate ventilation. Delivery is mainly via Fastways Couriers, direct to your door. How big will the plants that I order be? All of our plants are sold at a substantial, plantable grade and most are grown in our own nursery. Most plants are sold at PB2 size which means they come in a 1.5 litre planter bag. Some plants may be in a larger or smaller size than this, however the size will be stated in our catalogue so you know what you are ordering. As a general rule, our PB2 shrubs tend to be 20-30cm high, which PB2 trees are between 30-60cm high. The picture below will give you a general idea of sizes. Can you delay sending my plants as I am going away? That’s not a problem. When you make your order, just make a note in the comments section of the order form of the dates you will be away, so we can ensure your parcel does not arrive during this time. What happens if I order a plant and it is out of stock? We will contact you to let you know when the plant will be back in stock and/or suggest possible alternatives. I don’t live in New Zealand. Will you send plants to me overseas? Due to the high cost of exporting, unfortunately we cannot generally send plants overseas. What happens if my plants are damaged when they arrive? In the unlikely occurrence that your plants arrive damaged, please contact us immediately and we will get in touch with the courier to collect your plants and deliver new ones. Please do not unpack the damaged plants, just contact us and we will handle things from there. Quality - Guaranteed We are committed to providing our customers with native plants of the highest quality. Should you not be satisfied with your purchase on delivery, we offer a full money back guarantee or plant replacement. |
